Club Safety
We do our best to provide you with a great time in a safe and secure environment.
The Country Club employs Richmond County Sheriff's Deputies along with a Fire Marshall to ensure the safety of staff and patrons each evening. In addition, our uniformed floor staff and management personnel are equipped with radios, flashlights, and they are required to review safety procedures frequently. Our staff members also undergo routine fire safety training. CLICK HERE for more information.
We work closely with the Richmond County Sheriff's Office (RCSO), Fire Department and the Nightclub, Bar and Restaurant Association in an effort to have appropriate policies to be pro-active in preventing potential safety hazards within the club.
We have a strictly enforced dress code, RCSO Security Procedure Plans, Fire Safety Plans as well as a fire alarm and sprinkler suppression system throughout the club.
Employees review safety procedures, have easy access to fire extinguishers and alarm pull stations as well as good communication with managers and RCSO Deputies.
As a patron, you have responsibilities as well.
- Know your whereabouts and the location of all exits.
- In the event of an emergency or the need to evacuate, use the CLOSEST EXIT which may not be the main entrance door. Exits are located in each corner of The Country Club and with nine exit doors, there is no need to use the main entrance/exit.
- All exits are clearly marked and have emergency lighting to assist in case of power failure.
- For your own safety, please at least once, familiarize yourself and your friends with all of the exits within our establishment.
ID Policy and Dress Code
Understand that we strictly enforce ID and Dress Code policies at our door in an effort to ensure that no problems occur within the venue. A persons' dress, to some extent, represents the person and his/her possible attitude or behavior. Our goal is to be problem-free at all times.
Government-issued ID cards are required of all patrons regardless of age. You must be 21 to enter at all times and for all shows.
Presenting a Deputy with a fake ID or another person's ID card in order to gain entry or obtain alcohol will result in an immediate arrest.
In an effort to maintain order, Deputies may ask patrons to leave if they appear to have become intoxicated or are involved in a verbal or physical altercation within the club or parking lot. In many cases, you will simply be asked to step outside to discuss the matter or advised to leave the premises.
Once a Deputy Sheriff is interacting with you regarding matters of this nature, the club has no say as to the outcome. Therefore, if you are instructed to step outside or leave the premises, we suggest that you do so immediately otherwise you may be subject to arrest for disorderly conduct.
If your friend(s) are involved in a situation with a Deputy either assist by telling your friend to cease his actions and come with you or do not interfere with the situation as you will only create additional problems.
